The apartment at Carpe Diem was like a cozy home away from home. The fully equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher made it easy for us to prepare meals for our family. We loved having a flat-screen TV with cable channels in the room. It kept our kids entertained during downtime. The air conditioning in the apartment was a savior during the hot Porto days. The tile/marble floor kept us cool too. The parquet floors added a touch of elegance to the unit, making it feel even more comfortable. Having a toaster in the apartment was a convenient addition for a quick breakfast.

Personally, I found the private bathroom with shower a bit small, but it did the job.

I loved the small covered balcony, perfect for enjoying the summer weather. The entire place was immaculately clean and had a pleasant scent due to the air fresheners. The host was fantastic, extremely responsive and flexible. They personally showed us how to enter the property and provided us with valuable tips and recommendations for exploring the area. The nearby street parking, although no English speaking, was smoothly arranged and felt incredibly safe. The location was convenient with bus and metro stops nearby. Most of the city's attractions were within a 20-minute downhill walk from the apartment. I highly recommend this place and would definitely choose to stay here again if I ever return.

The apartment was so far from the city center that I enjoyed a long, leisurely walk - just what I needed after all that eating and drinking.

Couldn't see a thing from the loft window, so I just had to imagine what was out there. How delightful!

The location of the apartment was perfect, being in the center and very close to the metro station. We also had the advantage of having two excellent restaurants nearby. the room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with large isolated windows that provided a great view. the bathroom was private and very clean. the hostess was fantastic, providing excellent communication and check-in assistance.

The location was perfect, with great restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. The Portuguese people were friendly and helpful, and we were impressed by their English proficiency. The apartment was impeccably cleaned, and the bed was very sturdy.
